As a native Texan, I spent my first 18 years in the DFW area before attending Texas A&M University in College Station. After graduating with a Psychology degree I pursued a 30-year career in higher education publishing which afforded me the opportunity to buy, remodel and sell residential properties in Texas and Colorado.  I left publishing in 2016, became a certified mindfulness meditation instructor and began investing in short and long-term rental properties.  My spouse and I currently own and manage four Airbnb rental properties and two boat slips in the Lake Travis area and one Vacasa condo rental in Pagosa Springs, CO. We also own and manage a long-term rental property in the Circle C area of Austin.

Residential real estate investing has given me the freedom to pursue my many passions.  When I’m not hosting Airbnb guests or helping other people build wealth through real estate investments, I may be found walking our two hound dogs, playing golf, tennis, pickleball, boating on Lake Travis or hanging by the pool.  I also enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and river rafting with friends and family in Colorado.
